AOAA: Welcome as a new sponsor

Post by JeeperCreeper » Thu Aug 17, 2017 11:37 am

BMJA is pleased to announce a new sponsorship with Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area (AOAA)! This sponsorship comes with perks for both BMJA and AOAA. Most notably, BMJA will receive discounted day passes for members to use during our monthly trail rides and AOAA will receive BMJA’s help during various volunteer days throughout the year. This is a great opportunity for BMJA so we need to show we are taking our end of the bargain seriously.

Our August 19, 2017 Trail Ride will be the first time for BMJA members to use our discounted passes. Join us on our maiden voyage as new AOAA sponsors. BMJA members will be able to enjoy a full day of trail riding for $20. (Rates for passengers and non-BMJA members still apply. A yearly waiver for drivers and passengers can be filled out on-line making the morning check-in even quicker. More information about the ride can be found on BMJA’s website and Facebook event sections.)

Our first chance to give back to AOAA is on September 9, 2017. They are hosting the annual Geisinger Children's Network Ride and need helpers stationed along the route so the riders do not make wrong turns. AOAA will send us to a designated spot for the day and even deliver a scrumptious (free) lunch to the volunteers! Bring a chair, liquids and prepare to chat with your fellow volunteers for the duration.

Here’s to a new, mutually beneficial relationship between BMJA and AOAA! Cheers!
